動作行為與神經塑性研究室

實驗室簡介

「動作行為與神經塑性研究室」的研究目標為探討神經性疾患與老年人的大腦與行為之間的關係。本研究室致力於探討並了解不同神經性疾病族群 (包含:巴金森氏症患者、腦血管疾病患者及有認知功能障礙的老年人)的動作學習能力與認知功能,並將這些動作學習的概念運用於神經復健,以促進巴金森氏症患者及其他神經性疾病患者能從物理治療中得到最大的助益。

除了動作行為的探討,本研究室更致力於使用穿顱磁刺激(transcranial magnetic stimulation, TMS) 來探討大腦與行為之間的關係。穿顱磁刺激為一非侵入性的工具可以用來評估大腦的神經塑性。我們使用單發 (single pulse)或是雙發(paired-pulse) TMS來探討因學習、治療介入、腦傷或是退化而引發的神經性奮性改變。另外,我們也用連續性的穿顱磁刺激 (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, rTMS)來探討特定腦區對動作學習及控制的功能,以及將連續性的穿顱磁刺激作為輔助治療來增進物理治療的效益。
